Many people suffer from intolerances caused by animals. Mostly they suffer from such allergies from their pets like dogs, and cats. Saliva, urine, and dander from animals are usually discharges that human bodies often become allergic to. This is chiefly because humans possess an inherent hypersensitivity medically known as atopy. Because of Atopy, human beings are allergic to proteins that are found in animal discharges and the flakes of their skins. Some common animals that humans are usually allergic to are dogs, cats, horses, guinea pigs, rabbits and hamsters.
Immune System Response
Intolerances or allergies caused in human bodies due to close interaction with animals are quite common. This form of allergy is nothing but a response or a reaction from the immune system. Such intolerance can occur due to the following reasons:
- From pet's clothing
- Contact with air that is carrying animal borne protein and ultimately when it affects the respiratory passage in a human body
- Contact with worms that often feed on animals' skins
- Food consumed by human beings that has been in contact with fleas and other flying insects
- Bed bugs
Causes of Intolerance
Animal intolerance is a very common disease. It is very difficult to give a definite cause of such allergies since causes vary in terms of the nature of animals and often there can be multiple causes. The following are few basic reasons why intolerance in human beings takes place against animals:
- Animal intolerances are mostly inherited by human beings due to generic hypersensitivity.
- Faulty production of anti-bodies from the immune system.
Findings
Allergy towards pets and other kinds of animals, both aerial and terrestrial, is on the rise. As per findings of the eminent allergy foundation and research centres of America are the following reports:
- 15-30% of human beings who suffer from allergies are chiefly allergic to animals like cats and dogs. Cats have seriously caused allergies in millions of people and thus needs to be worked upon.
- Many children suffer from asthma that has been caused by their contact with allergens from saliva, urine, and flakes of their pets' skin.
Animal intolerance is spreading rampantly and needs to be cured through finding the cause i.e.: parasite or bacteria. We have found a way to stop parasitic infections spreading to humans which cause allergies i.e.: breathing difficulties, skin complaints, verrucas, heart problems and bowel disorders.
