Colonic Hydrotherapy
Often termed as colonic therapy, pertaining to the cleansing of the colon - the last part of the digestive system, this method of medical treatment is an alternative way to remove unidentified toxins and faecal waste. The term colon hydrotherapy includes a number of ways to achieve the cleansing techniques. Process and side effects: In the process of cleansing, the colon of the patient is attempted to be cleansed by injecting water mixed with herbs, or liquids which may be medically sanctioned as cleaning aids. The areas supposed to be cleaned are suspected by doctors to be accumulated with faeces or left over traces of bowel, which can be a reason for bacterial infection, or the intestines being a harbour zone for parasites and gut-flora. The general symptoms of such a condition can be irritability, headache, appetite loss and an irritable bowel syndrome.
